What is ell-IoT ?
ell-IoT reads raw data from the devices “on field”. This information will be processed in order to create data structures which can be configured via a web interface and sent/received by means of most common IoT protocols worldwide.
The joint between I.T. and O.T. layers
ell-IoT is a connector capable of collecting data from several O.T. level components via integrated Drivers or OPC Servers.
The stored data are then shared in real-time with the I.T. layer using MQTT protocol.
The system also integrates a “cache memory” if the LAN connection fails.
All these actions take place in a totally asynchronous way!!!

Troubles with IT or Cloud connection ?
The system integrates an innovative solution that is based on providing a complete asynchrony between reading information from the field (O.T.) and sending it to the Cloud (I.T.).
A simple example ? We have the possibility to sample data from the O.T. level every second and send them already “packaged” at the I.T. level every hour or at every machine stop.

It allows to create two isolated LAN networks between the O.T and I.T. layers.
